Apparent power in electric motors
Apparent power has a share of real power and a share of reactive power. In contrast to active and reactive power, the apparent power is independent of a phase shift in the angle φ. With the same apparent power, the greater the angle between 0 and 90 °, the greater the reactive power (greater proportion of apparent power). The active power and reactive power together result in the apparent power. Active and reactive power are catheters.
