The application area of ​​external fans

JS-Technik's external fans are primarily used for cooling electric motors and geared motors. Up to frame size 132, you have the option of using universal external fans for electric motors. This is particularly common in conjunction with a frequency converter, as these often operate AC motors at low frequencies. In such cases, external cooling of the electric motor is essential. External fans are also frequently used in high ambient temperatures. These applications can be found, for example, in hydraulic power units, pumps, compressors, shredders, agitators, presses, hammer mills, extruders, recycling plants, and conveyor technology.

Multivoltage external fan!

Multivoltage means that the external fan can be operated with both 230V AC and 400V three-phase current. Thanks to the capacitor in the terminal box, the fan motor can be connected to AC power via a Steinmetz circuit. This high-quality external fan unit has an IP56 protection rating and offers a higher air volume compared to other external fans.
