Circular saw motors - versions
Circular saw motors, when used with a brake, are also known as saw motors, band saw motors, or circular saw motors. Depending on the application, our motors have either a right-hand or left-hand thread at the shaft end. Drives are available in 230V versions from 1.1 kW to 2.2 kW and in 400V versions from 1.5 kW, 2.2 kW, 3 kW, 4 kW, and 5.5 kW. These low-profile electric motors are often required as custom motors to meet specific customer requirements. In these cases, their slim design is crucial. However, the most common application is for circular saws.

Braking devices for table saw motors!
Electronic brakes are used to decelerate squirrel-cage asynchronous motors and single-phase AC capacitor motors within 10 seconds after being switched off. Brake switches for external mounting are available in 1.1 kW to 5.5 kW ratings.
PTC resistors / PTC thermistors
The flat actuators offered here are prepared for temperature monitoring with PTC thermistors. To use this monitoring, you will need the corresponding PTC release device.
Operating modes of electric motors
The operating mode offered for the circular saw motors is S6. Here is a brief overview of the common operating modes of electric motors: Continuous operation S1, Short-term operation S2, Intermittent operation S3 (without start-up, without braking), Intermittent operation S4 (with start-up, without braking), Intermittent operation S5 (with start-up, with braking), Continuous operation S6 (with intermittent load), Reversing operation S7 and Continuous operation (with variable speed).
