Protection Class IP69K: Protection during high-pressure cleaning

Protection class IP69K is the standard for maximum tightness during high-pressure jet cleaning at high temperatures. While the code number "6" marks complete protection against dust entry, the number "9" guarantees protection during direct exposure to high-pressure cleaners from a short distance.

Important note on standardization: The protection class IP69K originally defined in DIN 40050-9 has been harmonized in the current IEC 60529 standard. In modern specifications, therefore, only IP69 is often referred to (IP69K corresponds to IP69).
