IP23 electric motors
SEVA-tec GmbH specializes in professional drive technology, focusing on electric motors, frequency converters, and geared motors. On this page, you will find a selection of cast iron electric motors in frame sizes 160, 180, 200, 225, 250, 280, 315, 355, and 400, with power ratings of 4.0 kW, 5.5 kW, 7.5 kW, 11 kW, 15 kW, 18.5 kW, 22 kW, 30 kW, 37 kW, 55 kW, 75 kW, 90 kW, 110 kW, 160 kW, 200 kW, 250 kW, 315 kW, and 500 kW. These drives are available in various speed configurations: 2-pole, 4-pole, 6-pole, and 8-pole. These are, of course, energy-saving motors and are also available in IE4. Often, due to space constraints, three-phase electric motors with IP23 protection are required. We can also supply these at short notice.
Special engine design
Electric motors with customer-specific requirements are often needed. We are the ideal partner for you in this regard, because our expert staff, combined with an extensive motor inventory and our own final assembly, allows us to cover a wide range: special brake motors, electric motors with frequency converters, drum motors, or motors with special voltages such as medium-voltage motors.
Standstill heaters
In three-phase motors exposed to strong temperature fluctuations or extreme climatic conditions, the motor winding is at risk of condensation or dew formation. As an option, a built-in standby heater can warm the motor winding after it is switched off, preventing moisture from condensing inside the motor. The standby heater should not be switched on during operation.
Runner – Balancing
All motors have rotors dynamically balanced with a half key inserted according to DIN ISO 8821. Drive components such as pulleys, couplings, and pump impellers must also be dynamically balanced with a half key inserted. It is essential to ensure that the hub length and the keyway length match to prevent any additional residual imbalance. Full keyway balancing is available upon request.
Mechanical smoothness
Due to balancing and concentricity tolerances, the vibration behavior of the motors corresponds to vibration category A according to DIN EN 60034-14. For special requirements regarding mechanical smoothness, motors can be supplied in a low-vibration version.
