Our variable speed geared motors are available in various sizes and power classes to meet individual requirements:
- Power levels: 0.25 kW, 0.37 kW, 0.55 kW, 0.75 kW, 1.1 kW, 1.5 kW to 7.5 kW.
- Output shaft diameters: 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, and 35mm.
- Mounting positions: Optimized for M1, M2, and M4.
Applications in Mechanical Engineering
The applications for our adjustable drives are diverse. They are used in shredders, agitators, presses, and throughout conveyor technology – from belt and chain conveyors to dosing screws. These geared motors have also proven themselves in the food industry, sawmills, and general plant engineering.
Functionality and Operating Guide
The integrated variable speed drive operates as a planetary gear. By turning the handwheel, the radial position of the planet wheels changes, allowing the output speed to be continuously regulated. The torque increases automatically as the speed decreases.
Important handling note: Due to the system design, speed adjustment must only be carried out during operation. Adjustment at a standstill will lead to mechanical damage to the gearbox.
