1.18 From when will circular saw motors be available in 230V and 400V versions?

Circular saw motors are available in 230V versions from 1.1 kW to 2.2 kW and in 400-volt versions from 1.5 kW, 2.2 kW, 3 kW, 4 kW and 5.5 kW.

In practice:

For mobile or occasionally used saws in the home, a 230V motor up to approximately 1.1–1.5 kW is common, because any normal electrical outlet can be used.

In workshops with a fixed three-phase power connection, circular saws are often used with 400V motors even at low power levels, as these are more robust, have higher torque and are usually more reliable in continuous operation.
