Electronic braking devices

Electronic brakes are used to decelerate squirrel-cage asynchronous motors and single-phase AC capacitor-driven motors within 10 seconds of being switched off. Brake switches are available for external mounting in 1.1 kW, 1.5 kW, 2.2 kW, 3 kW, 4 kW, 5.5 kW, and 7.5 kW motors.

PTC thermistor/thermistor protection

The drives offered here are mostly prepared for temperature monitoring with PTC thermistor sensors. To use this monitoring, you will need the appropriate PTC thermistor tripping device.

The design and the terminal box

The motor design is variable upon request. Even with heavy-duty AC motors, i.e., from 4 kW to 500 kW, the motor feet can be converted. This allows a B3 foot-mounted motor to be converted into a B5 flange-mounted motor, or into a B3/B5 foot/flange-mounted motor. Another advantage is that the drive can be converted to a terminal box position: top, left, right, or even bottom.
