Helical gear units with DC motors are available in various speeds, from less than 1 to 1000 revolutions per minute (rpm). DC helical gear motors with customer-specific requirements are often needed. We are the ideal partner for you in this regard, as our decades of experience and in-house final assembly allow us to make many things possible.

In the area of "gearboxes with dcmotors," we offer a wide range of products. These include: spur gearboxes with dc-brake motors, special shafts, various mounting positions, spur geared motors with integrated self-ventilation, with and without terminal boxes, and much more. Most of our gearboxes can also be combined with a dc-motor. These include: spur gearboxes, worm gearboxes, bevel gearboxes, flat gearboxes, and planetary gearboxes. The dc-drives are available in 2-, 4-, or 6-pole versions with power ratings up to 7.5 kW.

DC motor control

Our dc-motors can be additionally controlled up to 40 A using the PLN controller, with stepless speed adjustment via a potentiometer. The start-up and deceleration times can also be set. This optional controller is available in three power ratings and can also be supplied in a control box.

Operating modes of dc-motors:

Since DC motors often only run for short periods in many applications, the operating mode is frequently S2. Here is a brief overview of the common operating modes of electric motors: continuous operation S1, short-term operation S2, intermittent operation S3 (without starting, without braking), intermittent operation S4 (with starting, without braking), intermittent operation S5 (with starting, with braking), continuous operation S6 (with intermittent load), reversing operation S7, continuous operation (with variable speed).
