Shaft-mounted gearboxes with dc motors

Shaft-mounted (flat) gearboxes with dc motors are available in various speeds, ranging from 0.1 rpm to 350 rpm (revolutions per minute). In many cases, dc shaft-mounted geared motors are required with customer-specific requirements. In the field of "gearboxes with dc motors," we offer a wide spectrum of products. These include: shaft-mounted gearboxes with dc brake motors, special shafts, various mounting positions, shaft-mounted geared motors with integrated self-ventilation, with or without terminal boxes, and much more. Most of our gearboxes can also be combined with a dc motor. These include: helical gearboxes, worm gearboxes, bevel gearboxes, flat gearboxes, and planetary gearboxes. The dc drives are available in 2-, 4-, or 6-pole versions with power ratings up to 7.5 kW.

DC motor control

Our dc motors can be additionally controlled via the pln controller up to 40 A, allowing for stepless speed adjustment via a potentiometer. The ramp-up and deceleration times can also be adjusted. This optional control unit is available in three power sizes and can also be supplied in a control box.

Operating modes of dc motors:

Since dc motors in many applications only run for short periods, the operating mode is frequently S2. Here is a brief overview of the common operating modes for electric motors: continuous duty S1, short-time duty S2, intermittent periodic duty S3 (without starting, without braking), intermittent periodic duty S4 (with starting, without braking), intermittent periodic duty S5 (with starting, with braking), continuous operation periodic duty S6 (with intermittent load), reversing duty S7, and continuous operation duty (with variable speed).
