history

The company was founded in 1982 by Joachim and Walter Schulz (d. 2001) as a limited liability company (GmbH). Günther Schulz later joined as managing director and shareholder. In 1991, the company headquarters was relocated from Vechta to Ahlhorn. On September 3, 2004, the company name was changed from SEVA-Schulz GmbH to SEVA-tec GmbH following Günther Schulz's departure. Since then, Joachim Schulz has been managing director and sole shareholder of the company.

The company's core products are geared motors, electric motors, and frequency converters. These are stocked in large quantities so that they can be offered to our customers with the shortest possible delivery times. In addition, the company has a large in-house production facility for customized drive technology.

We offer a wide range of combinations and modifications for the production of special electric motors/geared motors. These include drives with: frequency converter design, special brakes, forced cooling fans, special voltage, protection class: IP54, IP55, IP65, IP66, UL/CSA certified, current-insulated ball bearings, special paint finish, temperature sensors, bearing temperature monitoring, anti-condensation heating, special shafts, second shaft ends, individual
rotary encoders and much more

The increasing demand in the field of electrical drive technology (electric motors, geared motors, frequency converters) led to the following construction phases:

1991 Production and warehouse building (Hall 1)
1994 Administration building and warehouse extension (Hall 2 + 3)
2010 Detached warehouse building (Hall 4)
