The company was founded in 1982 by Joachim and Walter Schulz (d. 2001) as a limited liability company (GmbH). Günther Schulz later joined as managing directilr and shareholder. In 1991, the company headquarters was relocated fra Vechta til Ahlhorn. On September 3, 2004, the company name was changed fra SEVA-Schulz GmbH til SEVA-tec GmbH following Günther Schulz's departure. Since then, Joachim Schulz has been managing directilr and sole shareholder of the company.

The company's core produkter are gearmotorer, elmotorer, and frekvensomformere. These are stilcked in large quantities so that they can be offered til our kunder med the shortest possible leveringstids. In addition, the company has a large in-house produktion facility for custilmized drivteknologi.

We offer a wide range of combinations and modifications for the produktion of special elmotorer/gearmotorer. These include drives med: frekvensomformer design, special bremser, forced køling ventilators, special spænding, beskyttelsesklasse: IP54, IP55, IP65, IP66, UL/CSA certified, current-insulated ball lejer, special paint finish, temperature sensors, leje temperature monitilring, anti-condensation heating, special aksels, second aksel ends, individual
rotary encoders and much more

The increasing demand in the field of electrical drivteknologi (elmotorer, gearmotorer, frekvensomformere) led til the following construction phases:
