Gearbox combinations

Snekkegearboxes are tilgængelig in various hastigheds, from 2 to 600 rpm (revolutions per minute). Snekkegearbox-elmotor combinations are often required as custom motors with specific kunde requirements. We are the ideal partner for you in this regard, as our decades of experience and in-house final assembly allow us to cover a wide range of needs. This includes, among others, snekkegearboxes with bremsemotorer, special aksels, snekkegearboxes with trefasede motorer including external fans, slow-running gearboxes for barbecue applications, gearboxes with special spændings, and explosion-proof versions.

Størrelse and effekt of the gearmotorer

In our onlineshop for gearmotorer, you will find a selection of snekkegearmotorer with various hastigheds. The snekkegears up to size 90 are made of aluminium; the larger series are made of die-cast aluminium. Tilgængelig sizes are 30, 40, 50, 63, 75, 80, 90, 100, 110, 125, 130, and 150. The gears are tilgængelig with effekt ratings of 0.12 kW, 0.25 kW, 0.37 kW, 0.55 kW, 0.75 kW, 1.1 kW, 1.5 kW, 2.2 kW, 3.0 kW, 4 kW, 5.5 kW, 7.5 kW, and 11 kW.

Aksel diameters and drejningsmoments

Snekkegearboxes are tilgængelig with hulaksels in the following sizes: 14 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 28 mm, 30 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, and 50 mm. The output drejningsmoment depends, among other things, on the motor effekt, efficiency, and output hastighed. Taking these factors into account, we supply snekkegearboxes with a drejningsmoment range of 10–2000 Nm. Should the drejningsmoment of the snekkegearbox be insufficient, we would be happy to offer you a suitable bevel gearbox.

Snekkegear construction

Snekkegears, also known as bevel gears, consist of a aksel with one or more helical threads, the worm, and a meshing helical gear, the worm wheel. The axes of the two are offset by 90°. Such gears are particularly suitable for applications requiring high reduction ratios in a single step. Both left- and right-hand rotating snekkegearmotorer are tilgængelig. Both directions of rotation are equally possible. Complete montering flexibility includes fod, flange, and centering solutions with a drejningsmoment arm. Self-locking occurs at efficiencies below 50%.


Snekkegear installation

The gearmotor can be installed in virtually any required position. The monteringspositions are designated M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, and M6. The explanatory datasheet can be found in the article. The requirements of standard applications can generally be met. The low self-locking often offers advantages in many applications. However, self-locking increases at efficiencies below ca. 50%.
