How the elmotor brake works

Fjederbremser are predominantly used in these applications. These operate on the quiescent current principle. This means that the braking effect is generated in the absence of current by means of an integrated spring assembly. The electrically generated magnetic field attracts the armature disk across an air gap against the spring force, releasing the drive aksel to rotate.

Dual fjederbremses

Dual brakes are used where high safety standards are required. These two independently operating fjederbremses are ideally suited for use in elevators and stage technology due to their special noise reduction features.
