1.1.9 When is a centrifugal switch / starting relay used in a 230V motilr?

The centrifugal switch of the AC-motor med two kondensators is located on the B-side of the motilr and switches off the starting kondensator after the amplified start-up. This technology is used in 2- and 4-polet AC-motorer. In enfasede motorer med low hastigheds, i.e., fra the 6-polet version upwards, this function is performed by a starting relay.
