The MODBUS bus system belongs to the fieldbus family.

Typically, the network is constructed in a linear structure. The maximum data transfer rate on a MODBUS

can be up to 115.2 kbit/s. The fieldbus cable is connected exclusively via the front

attached M12 connector socket. If the fieldbus cable is to be forwarded to another participant,

An M12 T-connector must be used for this purpose. The bus must be terminated with a terminating resistor.

The interface card is part of the inverter.
