Electronic Braking Devices

Electronic brakes are used to brake asynchronous machines with squirrel cage rotor design and
1Ph AC capacitor motors within 10 seconds after switching off.
For external mounting, brake switches are available for 1.1kW, 1.5kW, 2.2kW, 3kW, 4kW, 5.5kW,
and 7.5kW motors.

PTC Thermistor Protection

The drives offered here are predominantly prepared for temperature monitoring with PTC sensors
(positive temperature coefficient). To use this monitoring, you need the appropriate PTC tripping device.

The Design and Terminal Box

The design of the motors is variable upon request. For heavy-duty electric motors, i.e., from
4kW to 90kW, the motor feet can be modified (the standard version, however,
has cast-on feet). Thus, a foot-mounted motor B3 can also be converted to a flange motor
B5 or to a foot/flange motor B3/B5. Another advantage is that
the drive can be converted to a terminal box position with TB-top, TB-left, TB-right, or even
TB-bottom.
