Gearbox performance figures

The electrically controlled helical geared motors are manufactured from an aluminum or cast iron housing and are available in several sizes. They consist of a helical gearbox, frequency converter, and electric motor with power ratings from 0.18 kW, 0.25 kW, 0.37 kW, 0.55 kW, 0.75 kW, 1.1 kW, 1.5 kW, 2.2 kW, 3.0 kW, 4 kW, 5.5 kW, 7.5 kW up to 22 kW.

SEVA-EASYdrive assembly

The SEVA-EASYdrive frequency converter is mounted in place of the motor terminal box using an adapter plate and can be installed in 90° increments by rotating the motor. The geared motor can be installed in almost any required position. The installation positions are designated M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, and M6.

Frequently needed accessories

Since the adjustable drive unit is often operated below 35 Hertz, the motor should be protected from overheating with an external fan in such a case.
Furthermore, a high degree of self-locking of the gearbox unit is often necessary. Since this is frequently insufficient in gearboxes, an electric motor with a brake is required. Naturally, we supply and install the external fan and the motor brake for the required spur gear motor.

The bus-compatible frequency converter

The SEVA EASYdrive frequency converter can optionally be made "bus-compatible" using fieldbus modules. With CANopen, EtherCAT, Modbus (already included), Profibus, Profinet, and Sercos, the EASYdrive offers compatibility with almost all common control environments. Customers can select the relevant bus system and thus ideally integrate the EASYdrive into their application's control environment. The required optional control variant must be specified when ordering. The EASYdrive drive controllers are CE, UL, and CSA certified. Without external filtering, the EASYdrive meets EMC class C2 (with 3-phase mains power supply) and C1 (with 1-phase mains power supply).
