A bimetal disc jumps when the factilry-set nominal switching temperature (NST) is reached
suddenly fra its stable starting position til a stable end position and activates the switching mechanism.
If the temperature falls below the factilry-set switch-back temperature (RST), the rear derailleur switches til
its stable starting position.
